Rest in Peace, David Foster Wallace

I feel so sad. A very good tribute by Matt Keeley is here.

  1. Man, I just couldn’t believe it when I heard the news. What a shock!

  2. Strange thing about authors – when their work speaks to me (as DFW’s did) I feel as if I know them. Of course, I don’t really. I can’t imagine feeling this much grief about the suicide of a painter I had never met, though.

I’m sorry he was in such terrible pain. I hope he’s at peace now. My sympathies are with his family and friends.
