30 in 30 Day 29 – March Hair

This late in the challenge and I’ve run behind! Trying to play catch-up now but luckily there is just one more to go. Hope to finish that final painting tonight. I think the month change threw me off a bit. I always feel a little lighter, almost giddy when March shows up. Spring is just around the corner.

30 in 30 day 12 – Midwinter Dream

Painted last night while the snow fell outside. I keep wondering when my seed catalogues will appear in my mailbox. Do companies still send seed catalogues?

Feeling good

The increased sunlight and everything bursting into bloom makes life more than tolerable. Also, I have a painting in a private collection somewhere on the East coast, rubbing its scruffy little shoulders with a couple Leonard Baskins and a Georges Roualt. I could die tonight and be happy.

Spring

is suddenly here in Denver. Bulbs poke their heads out of the ground and the daylight hours are longer. After thirty two years here, I still get the feeling in winter that the drear will never end. And the appearance of spring still seems like a surprise.
