Haven’t blogged in almost a year.
Honestly, I forgot I had a blog until I got the ICANN notice wanting me to renew the domain.
Been in the bottom of a well and then the election just kind of buried me.
Jesus. That parallel world of stupid and horrible people is larger than I ever imagined.
But I am putting together a show with the help of some gifted painters and poets.
More news soon.

Today’s painting is a bit of hopefulness. “Imaginary Sanctuary,” oil on stretched canvas, 6″ x 6″. I thought about accompanying this with a tune from Westside Story (There’s a Place for Us…. Somewhere… A Place for Us…) but I went with Dave Van Ronk’s brilliant cover of Joni Mitchell’s classic just because I like it better.
And now here’s a really good song.
