Heart & Soul

HeartSoulFront

“Heart & Soul,” new paintings by Katie Hoffman & Lance Green at Valkarie Gallery, is now up and open and there will be a reception tomorrow from 5 to 10 PM. I did send out postcards but apparently too late. Since my mom didn’t receive one, it’s a sure bet nobody else did either.   (Finding postcard stamps was an ordeal.)

If you are one of the 2 or 3 people who reads this blog, please know that you are invited and I would be delighted to see you there tomorrow evening.

Even if you don’t read this blog, I hope you come and I would love to see you.

We will also be there on the First Friday in March if you can’t make it tomorrow, and there may still be wine and cheese available.

This show runs through March 9 and the open hours are as follows:

Wednesdays 10 – 3 & 4 – 7

Thursdays & Fridays noon – 7

Saturdays noon – 6

Sundays noon – 10

Plus we are open on the first Friday of the month (that will be March 7 for this show) from noon – 10.

Happy Valentines Day.

I will be participating in Artma, an auction to raise funds for pediatric cancer research, once again this year. I have donated “Alistair the Fierce Bad Cat,” shown below. This happens on February 8 from 6 to 10 at a brand new location- the 1st Bank Center at 11450 Broomfield Lane, Broomfield, CO 80021.

And, I have been invited to participate in Westword’s Artopia 2014. This will be happening on Saturday, February 22, from 7 PM until 2 AM.

Below are a couple of newly finished paintings. Hoping to finish several more in the next two weeks. We’ll see.

When I light your darkened door

New small paintings and recent small news.

I was happy to have a  mention in a nice video interview with Bianca Trenker, owner of Mountain Living Studio. I am happy to have work hanging in her beautiful gallery, among so many remarkable artists.

I have been creating tiny paintings,  which will make their debut at Valkarie Gallery‘s special event from November 29 to December 6. I will not be present physically but my work will- lots of it, and scads of affordable stuff. Anybody with any sense can agree that if you must choose, the latter is the best option. The latest little ones I’ve finished are below.
